Straight hair looks absolutely amazing on long hair. I didn't think long hair was that big of a deal until I found the second picture and it made me super jealous! With long hair, it often appears really thick yet healthy.
Imagine walking down the street with your long straight hair blowing in the wind, how sexy would that look?! You may also have "bad hair days" where your hair is a little messy but that's fine because looking at the pictures below, it gives you an effortless type of look yet it still looks absolutely amazing!
Wavy/Curly Hair
Tell me how long curly hair does not look absolutely amazing? I absolutely love the fact that with longer hair, curls would look more voluminous and drop dead gorgeous.
Unless you have naturally wavy/curly hair long hair (lucky ducks!), it would look perfect for any formal occasions. The looser the curls, the wavier it looks which gives you the "girl next door" impression.
Fishtail Braid
Fishtail braids are so easy to learn yet they would make an absolutely perfect hairstyle for both casual and formal occasions.
I recommend this hairstyle for those who have a side swept fringe because it enhances and compliments the hairstyle so well. The best thing about this braid is that either if it's messy or neat, it looks good both ways!
Half-Braided Updo's
I thought I'd include this hairstyle for those who have absolutely no idea how to style their hair when they want to go to a wedding or any other formal occasions.
Personally for me, I dislike having hair fly in my face so by braiding your fringe or the sides of your hair, it makes you look sophisticated, classy and you don't need to constantly worry about how your hair would look in photos! I also included a picture of Delta's headband braid again because I think it looks absolutely lovely and would make you look/feel like a goddess!
Intricate Braids
These hairstyles are what I was talking about for the "intricate braids". Unfortunately it cannot be done on short/medium hair but for you lucky kittens with long hair, just look how amazing they look.
I bet you're also thinking about how complicated they seem but after watching a few videos I found on YouTube, it has motivated me to keep on growing out my hair for the sole purpose of being able to braid my hair like this. It may be a little bit of a struggle at first but practice makes perfect!
Ombre Hair/Dip dye
Although my dip-dye hair didn't go as well as I wanted to, it still doesn't mean that ombre hair doesn't look amazing because guess what, it is! The best part is the fact that it looks so angelic on long hair. If you have naturally dark hair, I would personally recommend getting the ombre hair in the first picture instead of wanting it to go light straight away but if you have naturally light blonde hair.
I super duper recommend you to go pastel because it looks so so so amazing and so beautiful on long hair. If you feel as though dying half your hair is too much, dip dying looks just as good. Lucky for you guys with longer hair, you can dye it two colors yet it still looks absolutely fabulous!
Half Bow Updo
Who needs to buy a bow when you can make your own out of your own hair! This hairstyle is a super cute half updo bow which is really easy to try yourself at home.
"Bebexo" is one of my most favorite YouTube hair gurus and I absolutely adore this hairstyle because it looks as though you just came out from an anime or you're part of the sailor moon gang!
Braided Hairstyles
Yay it's "bebexo" again! This hairstyle is perfect for any formal occasions. Not only does it look boho, it would make a perfect prom kind of hairstyle that looks like you spent hours and hours on it but when in truth, you spend a little over 10 or so minutes. The video is super easy to follow and you should all go and subscribe to her on YouTube because she's absolutely amazing!
Intricate Side Braid
Remember "Lilith Moon"? How could you forget such a lovely YouTube guru who has such lovely hair tutorial videos?!
I was searching up some videos on YouTube when I stumbled across this video and it astonished me to see how such a hard looking braid would be so easy! This hairstyle is perfect for spring/summer or even as a formal hairdo!
I'm sure many of you have already stumbled across the picture on the right from Tumblr or whatnot and thought to yourself "wow!" I finally found the video tutorial on YouTube by "Lilith Moon". Although it may be a bit harder to learn at first, after time you will be able to perfect this hairstyle to be able to wear it out everyday!
