According to the stylist, he has fine, dark hair. She works on getting his look by wetting his hair, adding product including a thickening spray, and “creating piece texture.”

“I absolutely do think that hair can help or hurt,” says Patton. “People enjoy seeing something familiar, and hair can help create likability in a performer, which can turn into a vote.”
